Well he does work for MS. If you do not believe him send him a tweet. I have read what he tweeted at multiple sites, and if you cannot trust him then who can you trust about this?
Hope he gets payed good but getting straight answers seems like pulling teeth.

Well if in fact he is tweeting false info then I would loose all confidence in MS. I would not upgrade and more than likely start using Linux again. I guess his Tweets are a tad vague .

He's not tweeting false info, he's tweeting incomplete answers to questions. Rather than writing a book about all the caveat's, he just says "yes" or something equally terse. That's what Tweets are, terse.

He could explain better with further tweets instead of leaving it up in the air. That where the confusion is coming from and I am not alone in this, just read some of the conversions tweets he didn't respond to. A few were rude but most tweets in the conversation brought up valid concerns.

I'm sure his job does not consist solely of answering tweets. My guess is that he doesn't have much time for this, which is why he seldom says anything.

MS would do well to dedicate a person in the know just for such relations with general public. A little knowledge can lead to big confusion and that's what is happening right now as far as I can see.
On the other hand, MS didn't write anything in the stone yet and there might not be clear answer to those kinds of questions yet although I wish they had made my mind already.

As an ex-platoon sergeant, that's how I like my answers: "Yes", "No", or "I don't know":). To me anything else can be read into, and that's where misunderstanding really starts.

Should a Sargent ever say "I don't know" ? My always said " it's on a need to know basis and you don't need to" but I was in the navy.

He might mean that Insiders will continue to get updates but The Preview will still expire on 10.01.2015..?
