We can only hope. . .:)
SourceMicrosoft will launch a new Windows 10 Mobile build in just a few hours, but the company is working at the same time on a new version for PCs, which could be released to users very soon.
Details are yet to be provided, but Gabriel Aul, the head of the Windows Insider program, has revealed on Twitter that build 10145 is already being tested internally, and if no major bug is discovered, it could be pushed to the fast ring in the coming days.
Aul hasn’t said when this could actually happen, but Microsoft usually needs two or three days to test builds in the OSG ring, so if everything goes according to plan, expect the new build to see the light of day either later this week or early next one.
No major changes but bug fixes and performance improvements.. now that sounds good all by itself.. I hope this week some time. Today?? Tomorrow?? :)
That is all fine and dandy but I want THE DEBUG SYMBOLS SO I CAN TROUBLESHOOT BSODs!!! Still don't even have them for 10130
Thanks for that link, labeeman.
Our dates picked for RTM release are looking better all the time. :)
Question: When they fix bugs in a build is it then released as a different build number? In fact, some people claim that Windows 10 recently reached RTM Escrow phase, which means that development of new features froze and the company started focusing exclusively on bug hunting, so the upcoming builds on RTM have only slight chances to bring anything new in terms of the feature lineup.
Awesome news, I need 10145!!! :) Yes general bug fixes and performance sounds like just the ticket.
Well, as a matter of fact the build which is currently in the OSG Ring is 10146, whereas 10147 is in the Canary Ring.
