Hi Tony--Yep I finally got it up and running. You ask me how I like it? Well--I'll put it this way. It's a little bit like jumping into the water. When I was a kid--a long time ago--we used to go swimming in the river. When we first jumped in it did not feel very good because it was cold, but we know if we stayed in long enough we would gradually get used to it and after a while it felt good and we had fun. So as far as liking Windows 10 is concerned, I've just been it the water for about a half hour. I know it will feel better later on and I will like it. As far as Spartan is concerned, I just jumped into the water a few minutes ago and it sure feel different than the water I'm used to but it feels like I will like it if I stay in the water long enough. One other thing and that is about Windows 8. I can't wait till I get out of the gosh dang water as it's still not warm enough.
@richc46 I was lucky this time mate, booting up today and the problems are solved although I will be using Macrium weekly on 10 as well as 7 from now on. It never bothered me before as clean installs for testing were always quick and painless but now I've got it set up to mirror my 7 install (and it looks like we can upgrade from IP to RTM) I want to keep it that way.
Basically what happened was I thought I'd set up OneDrive and changed the destination folders from C: to one of my storage drives, but I found that moved my Outlook .pst so my POP3 account in Office 2013 didn't work. I tried sorting out the folders and finally tried to reconfigure OneDrive, only to end up with two User folders showing on my desktop (Documents and Pictures). I gave up and went to bed with the intention of sorting it out after work today, but when I booted into 10 the folders were gone from the desktop and my POP3 account is back in Outlook working perfectly.
Just going to make a Macrium image...
I've just finished downloading it...

Time to play !
:)
I am very tempted. But if it's leaked, then I expect it will likely hit Windows Update pretty soon, probably next week anyway.
I can't be bothered doing the full blown ISO method of install, although I really want it.
Will just suck it up and wait for the update to come through.!!!
