Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14971 for PC Insider

I cannot paste a print-screen into the new 3D Paint, whereas I could do this all the time in Paint. Is this not possible any more?
I give up on it. With the old Paint, I could resize a pic to 50% and then to 40% and it was pretty much sized for upload to TF. I'm not sure what's happening with 3D.
I'll just find something a little bit easier to use.

Paint.net is a useful free tool. I've been using it for years for converting, resampling, resizing and cropping pics for web use.

Oh, yeah, I remember that one. Has it been updated lately or is it fairly old. Not that it matters, except that I'd like to download the lastest one.
Right now, I don't have the time to spend on Paint 3D, but I don't want to replace it with the old Paint either. Kinda stuck at the moment.

I edited my post to give the URL, but here it is again: The latest release was just this past September.

@Wynona, you want Paint back and still keep the new 3D Paint thingie? Co-exist??? Shawn put this tut out last night
Paint App - Restore in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
Works like a charm. DL and apply this one Restore_Classic_Paint.reg
No sign-off or re-boot required.
From search or anywhere on desktop, just fire up PAINT and you get the old one. Paint 3D is still there on the Start Menu tile. Here's a screenshot of the 3D Paint dragged into PAINT....

I've managed to paste a screenshot inside 3D Paint but I have not managed to draw a simple rectangle on it, like this:
When and IF 3D paint will become the norm I'll simply get the old Paint back, and if not possible I'll start using something like Screenpresso.
By the way, Wynona, I completely agree with you on what you were saying earlier, and I'd just like to add that quite a lot Win 10 users, spend like 10 - 15 minutes to clean-install the OS + drivers, and then they spend... 5 - 7 hours to uninstall all they do not need / like, plus to make 10 function the way they want to.

Thanks, TC! I'll most certainly go that route, but I'm gonna install Paint.net too. Best of all three worlds!
