An analogy comparing habitable housing to a computer Beta O/S not released to the general public is ridiculous.

Your second sentence has a simple answer.....Ditch Insider and install Build 1607.

Your third sentence is even more bizarre....M$ are working on development projects such as holographics and other futuristic programs.
Yet here you are, knowing this is Insider Beta complaining it is not compatible with your computer, this is why its on the insider program to try and solve any incompatible reasons, hopefully with the help of willing insiders.

Imagine the reaction posting on Feedback Hub for Insiders...Your quote "why can't i uninstall it or at least remove the useless menu entry?"
What you seemingly don't understand, Dencal, is that Microsoft has provided the Feedback Hub for, and encourages us to provide, Feedback, good or bad, on Windows 10. Microsoft has not limited my input in any way; I can complain or offer kudos at will.

The fact is that Edwin, I, or even you, can provide feedback asking, "why can't i uninstall it or at least remove the useless menu entry?" no matter what the 'app' might be. There's nothing prohibiting this type of feedback at all.

As a matter of fact, other than Solitaire, I don't do games, so the gaming things are useless to me. They're crapware, so why do I have to individually uninstall the silly things? I should, instead, have a choice of whether they go onto my hard drive during Windows installation! A very good feedback item for those others who don't like 'em either. The same with 'Get Office'. I already own a subscription to Office Pro Plus 365 2016.

Windows 10 Forums is a great place for discussing our likes and dislikes of what's going into Windows 10, and I thank John (the owner) for providing it for us. As far as I know, as long as we keep it civil, we're allowed to post anything (on topic) that we wish. That includes our like/dislike of any particular feature in Windows 10.

So, thank you for your input of:

Both yourself and Edwin need reminding that Microsoft are the sole owners of the O/S, therefore however annoying it is, they can do whatever they wish, also take into account this is Beta so updates are bound to be irregular in content....regards dencal.
Yep, I'll grant you that Microsoft may be the sole owner of Windows 10, but they've asked for my help (by providing the Insider Previews) in deciding what Windows 10 will become, so I will honor my commitment to them by giving feedback when I feel the need to do so. Also, I will discuss the merits of each Insider Preview here in Ten Forums, which John has provided for us.

What we must all remember is that everyone of us is at liberty to voice our opinion on each new Insider Build, whether in the Feedback Hub or here in Ten Forums. I don't need to be reminded what my job is regarding Windows 10 Insider Builds. I signed an agreement with Microsoft when I joined the Insider Program.

Well, some of those wishes were partially granted since couple of builds ago. Once you uninstall unwanted APPs they will not be reinstalled in next build. I personally don't mind them as long as they behave like they should. If they were not installed by default I wouldn't even know about them. This way I can choose what to leave and what to uninstall and keep them off.

Yeah, Count, I agree in principal, but I'd still like to have the choice of "not" installing some things. After all, there are some folks who don't have much extra HDD space.

Then again, How many of us objected to our default Browser being changed to Edge . . . Microsoft relented, and now with the last two Builds, our default Browser is once again being replaced by Edge. That's just nasty!

I'm all for choices and don't like changing of defaults once I set them up but MS is not consistent with those policies.
On the other hand, could you imagine having to go thru hundreds of choices for settings during OS installation ? it would take an hour just to start installing system. The answer may be in packages to be install, Games, Entertainment, Graphics, Office, Productivity etc.
No games ? Ok, forget games, Xbox or even Dx and that's it. Still, download itself wouldn't be any smaller.

Oh, you let loose another worm, Count! Xbox! I'm sure those who own the physical Xbox will love it, but I don't have a need for a physical Xbox and resent having some of the things I use being tied to it. That's all.

I've been installing operating systems since Windows 3.1 and yep, we used to have choices. And yep, it took forever and three days back then.

Actually, I would be good having a choice between installing the OS vs the whole enchilada. I'd opt for the OS, of course, since I use my system for production work mostly. I wouldn't be averse to installing what I need and/or want; which is mostly what I do anyway. So far, I've just "avoided" the crapware installed with each new Build. I may do an uninstall of most of it, just to see if it comes back in the next Build. But that will be when I have the time to do it.

So you and Edwin think that M$ should ditch Hologram development?
Your quote "What you seemingly don't understand"....in English means I'm right and you are wrong, well I stick by everything stated in my previous posts. how you interpret them is your business, but please save me the "I don't understand bit."

Nope, not what I said at all; I know nothing about holograms, and possibly my computer wouldn't support them if I did. What I said was:

The fact is that Edwin, I, or even you, can provide feedback asking, "why can't i uninstall it or at least remove the useless menu entry?" no matter what the 'app' might be. There's nothing prohibiting this type of feedback at all.

Last time I read my dictionary seemingly meant, "it doesn't seem like you understand". Translation: In don't think you understand. I don't believe I've ever seen "I'm right and you are wrong" given as a definition of seemingly. Maybe I should have put it in simpler terms; sometimes I get carried away with my fancy English. :)

Why would I not understand? Your statements were clear enough; Edwin and I don't seemingly have the right to protest what we object to in Windows 10, no matter what the 'app' might be.

And that's all I have to say on the matter.
