This happened to me in firefox, and this I found was a solution. I deleted firefox and mozilla maintenance, Then I searched for %appdata% when the folder opened I deleted firefox/mozilla. Installed firefox again and was back to nornal.
But it's only the ATP part that's for enterprise users. The rest of the post is relevant to all users.
