I use Edge when I'm using the Insider builds on my desktop and phone. Even though I'm getting use to Edge I still prefer Firefox/Pale moon. I have come across a few websites that wouldn't load right in Edge and I had to view them in Pale Moon. When I was having a crashing problem with Edge I tried Chrome and was very surprised how much it had improved since the time I first tried it.

    Resetting Router

Hello, strange problem...over the last three beta builds I've had an issue when beta's have been loaded on my two beta machines I lose being able to see my network on build 14393. I have to reboot the router to see my network again on 14393 machines. Two beta's, two AU's. I've looked here on TF, Answers and Google. Nothing. The router is a Netgear R7500 v1. Yes I know this router has it's problems but all has been well until the last three beta's. Anyone else have a similar problem? Or seen this problem in the forums? The router's firmware is up to date, fyi. Anyway just wanted to throw it out there and see if I get any responses. Not an earth shattering problem but just curious has to why. TIA

Speaking of Edge, I just experienced a not called for Edge opening but it opened with blank page although usually opens last closed page/tabs.

    All going well here.

Bit lucky the comp is still on the desk after the 7.5 earthquake struck a couple of hundred km away in the South Island just after midnight. Was a real frightener here in Wellington and lasted about 2 min with very many aftershocks still going.

They don't call us the shaky isles for nothing!

Well it opened all by itself again.again.
When Edge opened it was in Task manager as Background process, even when I closed it, it was still in Task manager. I ended that task and it didn't show up again.

I have no big problems either.
I see these open apps problems being reported by several members, but I am not having those problems. I did a clean install on both my test computers because of problems with sticky notes so maybe that prevented the spontaneous opening apps.

Something must trigger it. I had Settings also in task manager although I have not opened it in this session.

Glad you are ok. Big quake for sure. Had an acquaintance that lives in NZ Christchurch lost touch with her. Hope all is ok.
