Also when I install a leaked version I install it in a VM. That way I don't have to worry about messing up my other OS's.

Leaked builds can be fun to play with and do give you an d idea of what to expect in upcoming builds. But., in the end I like to stick with the official builds for my main usage.

Some of us (me included) like to live on the Edge (pun intended).

You can still download new builds from other sources than MS directly, you can get and download updates manually too. I don't know why those "MS account phobias" ? Most people have accounts on far more dangerous places. You don't even have to give any personal data to sign in.
Yes, I know it is truly baffling why anyone would not want a MS account. It makes life so much easier, and less annoying.

What's the point of leaking something that is still readily available? I mean it's not hard to get an official 10130, so why the hassle of leaking a 10135? Just to prove you can do it?

I mean what's the benefit of using a leaked version?
The benefit of using a leaked version is knowing you are using the latest available. Knowing that you are right there on top of the heap, testing the latest of the latest available, that you are "The Man!"

If you ever have your Microsoft account compromised you will not be happy when you can't logon. That has happened to me when a hacker in Washington state kept trying to login to my MS account. I received an e-mail from MS informing me of the attack and that my account was locked. It took a while to get it unlocked. That is one reason I like local accounts.

It took me 5 min last time. And most of that was waiting for the email.

People use same reasoning to avoid using seat belts. Try your logic somewhere else! lol I like MS, and for me the MS account is a godsend and something my wife and I talked about eventually happening years ago. The old if only MS had an account we could sign in to so that we wouldn't have to go through all this crap after every installation!
