I just entered 208.67.222.220 and 208.67.220.222 into my Netgear router and saved it. Is that all I need to do?

I just checked my phone and I had to reconnect to the wireless. It's working so I guess I did it correctly.

Yes that should be it as long as you have not manually altered the defaults in your actual devices, or used the auto fill in options in one of the Dns applications that offer this option

The only change I made was with this desktop(Insider build) before making a change in the router. I checked my phone and my wife's laptop and they work so I think I'm ok. This is unexplored territory for me.

A possible positive from this whole thing could be the addition of better security on IoT devices.
It will never happen, unless the US Government starts levying multi-Billion dollar fines on the corporations that make this junk.

Hacktivist crew claims it launched last week's DDoS mega-attack

New World Hackers, a previously known group, claimed credit for the assault, which they said had been a "capability test". The same group briefly knocked the BBC offline last year.

CBS reports that the "New World Hackers" group claims to be a hacktivist collective with members in Russia, China and India.
The claims by the group are yet to be either substantiated or independently verified. Some security watchers previously speculated that the Russian state had sufficient capability and motivation to launch the assault.

I think it's interesting that they say goodbye using Twitter one of the major companies they targeted, and known as a vehicle for free speech - they seem a little confused if you ask me

They are also saying "Don't look up to us as legends because we are not legends" in a way that indicates they are a bit pissed off nobody has called them legends.
