    Nope. Previous servicing stack update did not require a restart. There is no change in version number.
    Not the service stack but the latest cumulative update requires a restart. Winver: 14393.351

    Hi,
    @DooGie:

    Surely the CU should require a restart.

    Cheers,
    No restart was required or asked for. A bit strange I agree.

    Microsoft has released a new cumulative update KB3197954 via Windows Update to Windows 10 PC and Mobile Insiders in the Release Preview and Slow rings. This will bring Windows 10 to Build 14393.351 for Insiders currently running Windows 10 Build 14393.321.

    It will not show in Windows 10 version history until it is released to the public.

    Using slmgr /dlv in a Command Prompt window this is my RTM version:
    Attachment 107306

    And this is my IP version:
    Attachment 107307

    Different computers, IP version hasn't been customized much, yet.

    Please read the original message by Doogie:

    No restart required which seems a bit unusual for a CU install.

    Thanks for the heads up on that. I got bored waiting for it to show up in Updates so installed from the .cab file you linked to :)

    Installed fine and running ok.

    UPDATE

    Apologies to Brink I just realised he posted the link in an earlier thread.
