I used to love the Essentials but I moved to gmail when I got my first mobile phone so I was synchronised across devices.

    Good catch, and find @Bree
Thanks. Caught, found and downloaded. It's Movie Maker I still find a use for, as MS apparently realise (promising a Windows App replacement). Until that appears (and is found to be suitable) I want to hold on to the Essentials version.

Good to keep those links handy!
    Both installers still work.

Does anyone still have the KB3093594 (d-Mail.msp file)? I had four copies and I have lost them all.

Never mind I found links in another post here at TenForums.

Microsoft have today removed what were (as far as I know) the last remaining links to the downloads.
Download Windows Essentials 2012 (Web installer)
Download Windows Essentials 2012 (Offline installer)
Update (3/21/2017): URLs removed as WLE lifecycle is over.

Those removed links were the ones given in post#1. They still work (I've just downloaded the offline installer) but it can only be a matter of time before the source files are removed from the download servers. If you want it, get it while stocks last...

I had to clean install yesterday, was hoping I would still get Photo Gallery and Movie Maker as I had saved the offline installer. However, it's dead now:

    EDIT:

I posted too early! Although installer gave the error message shown in screenshot, to my surprise I found Movie Maker and Photo Gallery now in Start Menu. Both work perfectly.

    Strange!
