Wyn, no requirements?? How about a few like plenty of time on hands, likes telling about the old days, cantankerous (in various measures), enjoys self flagellation etc? And there are plenty more.

No sign of sleep/wake problems here. Really strange how it is affecting some but not others.

Like others have intimated, it smacks of hardware/BIOS differences but that is just a feeling.

Interesting to see whether MS can find anything by monitoring Wyn's comp.
Guess what, guess what, Lin! I no longer have the "I've gone to sleep and I refuse to wake up" syndrome! Unbelievable!

I rolled back to Build 14936!

So, it's looking like Build 14942 is definitely the culprit! No hardware, no BIOS, nothing but a Microsoft screwup!

Will not install for me ... sits at 81% then reboots into "restoring previous version of windows" and I am back at 14936 ... first time I have ever had trouble installing a preview build.
Do you have Malwarebytes installed? If so, try uninstalling it, then go for the update, Loquacious.

Well, yeah, there is that, but those aren't Microsoft requirements. :)

Yes I do have it installed .. it has never caused issues with previous builds but I'll give it a go.

Well I installed on both laptop and desktop and, sure enough, as soon as both sleep, they won't wake up without a hard boot x 2. I sent feedback to MS on both systems. It is not a workable build, for sure. No matter what else it may offer, basic sleep cycle is a must and this lack makes it suck big time.

Roll back to 14936, Magilla. This new Build is not worth the headaches it causes.

I left the computer for another hour, came back and wiggled the mouse, and it showed right back up! :)

If we don’t get a fix or another new build within the next few days

I too will be rolling back to the previous build

First time for a rollback since the beginning for me, little disappointed
