That whole mess was totally uncalled for, especially on the heels of the Cumulative Update fiasco.

BTW, Simrick and I spoke on Skype and discussed your solution. One thing that came out is that Fast Startup is part of the hybrid hibernation function, and may have caused the thing to not wake from sleep. I now have hibernation turned off, which will make Fast Startup gone. Also, it seems that by disabling this, it makes for a longer life of the SSD.
You actually have it completely disabled, so it doesn't show in your options anymore. That's what I did as well.

The upgrade failed for me and the computer reverted back to the old build. I might do a clean install over the weekend but I am so busy this weekend.

The upgrade worked as designed here. The download streamed in nicely until it hit 98%, then slowed to a barely-perceptible crawl, but it finally went through to completion. Following the restart, the upgrade itself was uneventful - just the way I like it :) So far, the new build seems solid to me, but then I don't really exercise the apps all that much, being more of a desktop guy.

Of course a new build drops on the day I leave on a business trip.

Guess I'll monitor your comments all weekend so I know what to expect when I upgrade on Sunday.

Finally got build 14942 to install. I tried using Windows Update 2 times without success. Then I made a ISO from the Install ESD and mounted it with PowerISO. When I tried a in place install I got a Stop Code Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal. What failed mwac.sys error. I looked it up and found mwac.sys is part of Malwarebytes. I uninstalled Malwarebytes and gave it one more try from the ISO. This time Build 14942 installed without any problems. Before I try installing Malewarebytes is anyone using Malwarebytes on this build?

Just FYI, you don't need PowerISO to mount the iso - just right click on the iso file in Explorer and click 'mount'. The functionality is built into Explorer.
