The action will start mid night CET time, sun will come out tomorrow, MS will not kick anybody out of Insiders. Tomorrow the windows 10 will become official one in my computer. Just take it easy, life goes on.
OK here is what I have going on. I signed into my 8.1 with MS A on this machine last night while running A VM of Ten. I did not notice as I was preparing for format to clean install 7 PRO then upgrade than to 10. There was no BT folder. Today I logged in and read comments on here as I made a copy of the drive to work on it. My BT folder appeared with ImageInfo=Client|Professional|10.0.10240.16384.0|9|en-US in the updates folder. So I logged into my other machines 8.1 and no folder. Logged in to a MSA and bingo it copies the BT folder from my other machine in seconds flat. I have a GB network. Also both of my machines are occasionally going full tilt with hard drive (both SSD) reads so I am feeding it to others (you're welcome) on my 25mbs up. The problem I have is I want to format and stick 7 on to upgrade from that. Would the wise thing to do be to just wipe them both and install 7 or can I just make an ISO or copy the BT folder over to the fresh 7 Pro install. I figured I would have plenty of time but apparently the upgrade process is well under way.
13 hours 51 minutes as of now, 6:08 pm EST East Coast US.
Was hoping it'd be right after midnight my time.
I had a golden icon appear on the shutdown button for an update on the second OS drive here where 10 is planned to go but suddenly saw a BSOD I will have to look into while not really being concerned since the copy of 7 at the moment is a clone of the host drive which has been unplugged to prevent any interference.
13hrs. 17min. 42seconds and counting here!
That is what I will be planning here once the upgrade takes place if required in order to see a clean install(preferred) take place. DId you have o use a separate app like ISO Creator for this? I figure if the download is an archive of a type you simply unpacked the files and zipped them up into the iso file there.
