Nothing for me since I'm on a different build of the Insider Preview already.

A Search for that KB3194496 seems to go everywhere except to a Microsoft site.

We have released Cumulative Update to Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393 for PC and Mobile on Release Preview Ring which will bring the build number to 14393.222 for PC and 14393.221 for Mobile (KB3194496). This Cumulative Update contains the following fixes:

Thanks for the information and I'm just waiting for the CU to come down.
You must be on the Release Preview ring in order to receive it. btw, it is apparently chock full of stuff. It took more than an hour where my other cumulative updates only took 15 minutes to a half hour.

    Failed updates

    Hi all,

I've had two failed attempts on updating to 222. I get to about 94% and then it fails, reversing the update changes.

    I'm running 14393.187.

Any suggestions out there on possible methods to get past this?

    Thanks

Windows Update Minitool got to it faster than Windows Update through Settings. Downloading to my single release preview station now (Surface Pro 3). Will report further...long download pauses at 10-11%, then again at 90%...seems stalled, so I checked and it isn't up on the Microsoft Update Catalog just yet:

Stay tuned! This could get interesting...
Finally completed after about 15 minutes using Settings/Updates & security/Windows Update. Installing now...~2 minutes to install ... rebooting now ... ~2 minutes to restart ... ~2 minutes to process before login screen appears. Shows all signs of being a pretty substantial update. Had to reinstall CPU Usage gadget, but so far seems stable otherwise.

It probably won't be in the MUC until Oct. 4th. It is a release preview update at this point.

At this point its only a preview cumulative update. It is still subject to changes before general release on Patch Tuesday and won't install on 14393 unless the registry is set to "release preview." The MUC doesn't offer pre-release stuff.

As far as I understand this release will be available for the Release Preview and Slow rings.
