how do you get that view of your PC name, info under the settings GUI? I know how to view it this way from good old explorer / this PC but not under the new GUI

EDIT - ignore that, i just saw the 'about' at the bottom. Had never noticed this in the new GUI. I tend to avoid the settings GUI where possible as still prefer explorer / control panel

W10 AU cumulative update installed today on my lappy. It hung on "restarting" for an hour. When it finally came up error 0x80070426 was there. Tried to restart again, everything was non responsive, even the on/off switch. Closed the lid and it finally stopped. Now it would no longer turn on. I am thinking BRICKED! Battery @ %100 and plugged in, left it sit on the desk with the lid open and about 1/2 hr later it started again by itself. Uninstalled the update, restarted and reinstalled again...seems back to normal. Updates are a crap shoot anymore!

So far no problems, have done 2 Desktops and just finishing the 7th Notebook. All are 64-bit except 1 Notebook is 32-bit.

I've noticed that, since this update failed multiple times on my system, Hard Disk Sentinel no longer works. It must have been trying to uninstall it, similar to when it used to uninstall Speccy during TP.

I've been watching this thread with trepidation since I have Windows Home on my laptop and don't have much control over updates. I had no problems. The update downloaded in the background, installed & restarted in 90 seconds and the PC rebooted to the login screen in 30 seconds

Does this update fix the missing drive / RAW format bug?

Interesting....same version as mine. Maybe when I get a chance, I will uninstall it, unhide the update, and try again.

There is something wonky with this "update" for KB3194496. I have two different systems both repeatedly failing to have success with this.
Different hardware makes. One Dell; one HP. Thankfully I am still able to use Windows and not "bricked". The failing update reverts any changes to the status quo ante.

advice: don't rush into this. Though, I must note, I had no choice on whether or not to receive this "update".
