Do you have enabled option to get "updates from more than one place" in updates / advance settings?

Some time ago I had problem similar to yours. Disabling that option solved the problem.
Tried another 3 times after doing this and its still the same.
have to wait for the next update I guess

"Bash may not work after upgrading to this build. To get it working again, go to “Turn Windows features on or off”, scroll down and check “Windows Subsystem for Linux (beta)” and click ok. After a reboot, Bash should work again."

This is probably the most ridiculous change log I've even seen. UNLESS you are actually get reports that once Bash has been installed this build UNINSTALLS it during a installation reboot. In any event I had bash installed before the update, in fact it worked after I installed this update and I've installed Xming and am ruining FF on Ubuntu Bash for Windows. Now THIS is hot stuff guys

My main Insider computer, my laptop, still hasn't received the build. Didn't expect one today. Wow! DS and the WI folks just sprang one on us suddenly!

Can't wait to try out the Delivery Optimization feature. Should save us time and space in the long run.

No luck with the new build in WU so far my Insider build delivery branch option setting is stick in slow ring as per the known issue on 14905
I might be able to duplicate a reg hack that corrected that a while back if I saved the text file or a copy paste about all that but IIRC every time you open WU it with all that it reverts back to the slow ring until you get a new build with the correction . .

.Alternatively I may find an 14915 enUS ESD or ISO at trusted sources I've used before . I Will see what shakes out and post my outcome here ☺

Sent from 14905 my 14915 update is lost somewhere or locked out and hasn't come in to my $WINDIWS.~BT folder or WU
