Rocky, if you want see my post on this thread#'152. I've checked it with Defender, MRT, and Malwarebytes, and it's clean.
Ah! Forgot about that, Cliff! Best way I know to get it.

One thing that those of us who clean install have to remember! When doing a clean install, it's my guess that Windows thinks you're on the "Slow Ring" and acts accordingly, changing you to Slow.

When checking the path for Rocky, I found that I'd been changed to "slow". It seems that the only times I'm changed to slow is if I do a clean install.

    Is that redundant enough? :)

CountMike; on the subject of AMD drivers. I hava a Compaq laptop cq61 that has an amd processor and after doing both a clean install and also then up grade from 10074 pro I am having problems with keyboard and mouse freezing up when trying to enter data or click on responses. is there some way to get this upgrade? all I get so far is defender.
    Thank you

Few improvements that bugged me before.
Some programs like FF and Total commander used to steal focus so much that Taskbar would not rise if set to Hide.
Start menu would not display everything if those programs or Apps were in full screen. I'm not sure if it was because of AMD GPU drivers because I received driver updates shortly after 10122 was installed but now everything works fine.
While we are at AMD driver subject, AMD still didn't release Dx12 drivers although all Rx xxx cards are supposed to be compatible.
On the minus side, Cortana still doesn't talk to me, I was hoping that newest Realtek 2.78 drivers would fix that.

Ship, it's not the AMD processor that's giving the problems; it's the GPU (graphics card).

How old is your Compaq? I believe HP has retired the Compaq branding, but probably still uses the technology under the hood.

It's been two or three years, but I helped a client choose a new computer and he chose a Compaq model, so they were around then.

    AMD driver problem

Hi Wynona; the laptop is about 10 years or more. have not had any problems until I tried a clean install of 10122 right from the beginning things froze and then the blue screen to collect data and then restart. originally a windows 7 home premium. After I sent the help me in i set it up and since then I have not had a problem.
will hope that its over having fits.
    Thank You

Thanks guys. I am going to work on it after this other download is complete. I am downloading an album now, so I will work on this after that.

I'm running 10122, x86 right now on this Dell Laptop. X64 is downloading as I type this (on my desktop PC)
As soon as the download is complete (from, getintopc.com) I'll burn the ISO to a DVD and install it on my HP Laptop,64 bit capable.

So I can be testing both x86 and x64 at the same time, but on two different PC's.

I've scanned all the files I've downloaded from 'getintopc.com' and they have all been 100% clean and clear, of any malware.
Using "Internet Download Manager" I get nice, fast downloads.

"I love it, when a plan comes together!"

    Happy Memorial Day!

I don't need any of those. Couple of days ago when I was doing spring cleaning of my computer case I fond few dead files, bunch of mosquitoes, assorted spiders and a wasp. All dead as a doornail, half dozen fans took care of them.

Mike instead of blue LED's in your case just use a bug zapper to mod it:
