I just did a clean install and the issue with the blury ICONS is gone..

Remember with 10074 they (MS) were doing one of those A/B tests with the blur effects and transparency. Sounds like that setting may have trickled over with 10122 WU, but clean install set it straight. Just a thought.

Hi Jeff; burned a dvd from the esd file.
on a laptop did a clean install and at first no problems. then couldn't enter zip code for hp printer questions.
then could not enter password when logging on.
tried to use chrome and couldn't enter login data. i guess they want you to use edge.
lots of bsod's and gathering data.
could it be because of it being a laptop????
On my Dell system I did an upgrade but have not tested everything there.

I've got a desktop and the previous builds worked like a charm... this one is not as good as 10074,

Does anybody know what default sizes the modern UI icons are ? as I already have some win32 icons saved in ICO & PNG format and can resize them to any size required then only a matter of changing any icon that is blurry.

EDIT: Well my idea does not work so far as I resized the Start tile to medium and I tried changing the icon of IE 11 to the one below which is a 256 x 256 pixel icon as a test & it still looked blurry.

    256 px Icon & test
I tried it with 512x512 and it's still blurry too.

I finally just removed everything from Start and pinned them to the taskbar. Hopefully the next build fixes the bug.

Hi Kari I get an access denied when trying to download. Also in your tutorial I tried to download and it would not respond. I am logged into the forum. What am I missing?

    Tip   Tip
    Update:

In Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10122, Start no longer has the expand or restore button at the top right corner of your Start menu. Instead, you can now turn on or off to use full-screen Start in the Settings app.

See: Start Full-screen - Turn On or Off in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

The dell optiplex 760 desktop that I am using works fine with the upgrade. It was my laptop that had windows 7 on it before that doesn't work.

I do not understand what you mean. In my tutorial there's only one file to download, the decrypter tool, and the download link works perfectly well.

I have no idea about download links on unofficial leak sites like those in Wzor's tweet. Never tried one, will never try.
