    Actually it didn't change much. Obviously they have several teams working at same time. Some are working on new features while some debugging them and older bugs too.
    Beside Fast and Slow rings, there was a Stable Release ring which would let insiders upgrade to next public release without dropping out of insider program. Now it's back to only two. Don't forget that insider editions are also to test fixes for old bugs as well as to try new features out and test at larger scale than they could on site.
    That last, 14905 was probably compiled before public, ordinary, release so they sent it into the wild soon after. With promised 2 major releases a year they have to hustle to keep up and not appear stale.

    Same KB# for both Versions 14393.105 & 14393.103
    Has MS abandoned Configuration Management?
