    Likewise, seldom use my webcam but tried all out. Three webcams work, one fails. The three that work are HP portables. My one that fails is on a Dell All in one -- the soft ware opens to a black 'picture' and nothing more. On the newest build of Windows I also have working camera.

    I have a laptop running the evaluation copy of ten and the camera works on that too.

    Well, Microsoft came thru - too late. I got a Windows Update to Microsoft Camera Microsoft LifeCam Studio today. Since camera wasn't working for three weeks, I replaced it with a Logitech Cam. Thanks Microsoft (NOT).

    Update to AU .82 is supposed to fix this issue too from what I read today , for all I don't know ?

    Everything on my logitech web cam works, except its own software. Just like it was before this last update. Any other cam software runs fine. lol

    OMG i just got a new camera today a logitech BCC950 conferenceCam and it freezing like crazy on skype HELP when is there a fix coming without a reg hack

Camera app - webcams only?
