Cumulative Update KB3176934 for Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.82

My tip: Create system images. This way you can always revert to a former state if there is something wrong. That's what I do and updates are no-brainer to me, I can always restore the system to the state it was in before the update.

That's a great tip but dosent really help me now

How about microsoft doing better control over their vendors as in what they did with percision touchpads and not giving users such a bad update experience.

All updates to my SP4 have installed without problems - nothing "broken".

Since you haven't got a backup there are only two things that can help you: Another update or a clean install. Or wait, maybe you should try refreshing your system which would be a more modest procedure. And as soon as your system has been fixed you should start creating system images. If you don't you will sooner or later be in the exact same situation again.

What do you mean by "refreshing"? The update was made the moment I turn on the tablet for the first time
