I very happy with my Lumia 640XL. I will only go back to a Android phone when I can no longer buy a Windows phone. Apple has never been on my want list and probably never will.
Same here, I have few reasons for that opinion.
After few years of Android use and Symbian before that, my first reason is familiarity with system because of almost exclusive use of windows on computers.
Another reason is integration and interfacing with desktop and other computers. There was only one Symbian phone I could successfully connect back up and control from XP and with several Androids I had, almost no luck at all. Best I could do is to download pictures and eventually backup phone numbers.
With my Lumia 640 I can do that several ways (I have 14905.100) on it. My brother's Lumia 535 which is still on W8 it's possible too.

im still cursing the win10 and windows phones for not having USB-tethering - its mandatory for me and cause of that, i need to stick on Jolla

    Interesting

According to ZDNet the Windows phone is heading for extinction
    http://www.zdnet.com/article/windows...droid-and-ios/

so I presume this mainly aimed at tablets?
    - that rumour keeps circulating - and the phones keep selling..

I'm very satisfied with my 640 dual sim, using one sim for phone and other one for internet (prepaid).

Solved Windows 10 Anniversary Update in Installation and Upgrade
I have read other threads on this subject and have not found the solution to my problem in them. The Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade Assistant Icon appeared on my desktop. I began the process to update and received the error, SOMETHING WENT WRONG...
I am downloading the update manually. Have others had the same issue with windows update not showing the update? I'm not sure my WU is working because of this.
