The ID@Xbox Pre-PAX Open House Returns On September 1

One of the best things about working on ID@Xbox at Microsoft is the opportunity to interact with game makers and creators on a daily basis. One of the others is being able to share our games with our awesome fans, especially those people who are pumped to check out new and innovative experiences. Over the past couple of years, we have brought those groups together at an awesome event called the ID@Xbox Pre-PAX Open House. It’s been so much fun that we’ve decided to do it again!

That’s right, for the third year in a row we’re inviting gamers to visit us on the Microsoft campus and help us kick off PAX West with the latest ID@Xbox games! We’re going to be showcasing more than 50 games, including some of the most highly anticipated upcoming titles, as well as some new surprises. Beyond that, you can pick up collectible pins from each of the games (while supplies last) and enter to win some great prizes. We hope you can join us!

Here’s what you need to know:

When: Thursday September 1st from 5:00 to 9:00 PM

Where: Microsoft campus — Building 92

    15010 NE 36th Street
    Redmond, WA 98052
    United States
    (directions here)

Who: Xbox fans 18 and older (under 18 allowed with parent/guardian)

What you can do: Play more than 50 upcoming ID@Xbox titles, including a number of newly announced and several that will be publically playable for the first time ever! Meet the developers and check out some of our most highly anticipated titles, including Outlast 2, Everspace, Cuphead, Pit People, and new content in ARK: Survival Evolved. See the Microsoft campus and stop by the Visitor Center to explore everything from the latest Microsoft Research innovations to the very first personal computer.

Admission cost: Absolutely FREE (PAX passes are not required)

Transportation: Parking is available for FREE on the Microsoft campus, and complimentary buses will also provide transportation from the Washington State Convention Center to building 92. The first buses will leave the convention center at 4:30 PM. There will be signs and staff wearing red shirts guiding people onto the buses driving between the convention center and Microsoft campus.
