    OK then...

I downloaded and installed it. It's pretty much the same except for the fact that it's an evaluation copy and that the personalization section in settings crashes settings whenever I try to go to it. Probably because it's an evaluation copy.

Its not anything new. We had expiration dates on the previous builds up to the last couple of builds when MS was getting ready to finalize and 'ship' the Anniversary build.

Could you expand a little on what you mean by this? Thanks. (could be it's not activated....)

I read somewhere on this particular thread that on Home versions of build 14901 that the settings app crashes when you click on the personalization option.

I can confirm that I too have the same problem. This should be fixed in the next Insider Preview release.

Got myself confused again, my TP is 1607, plus 14901.1000, so presumably, it's right up to date.
    Yes.. you're current.

It also crashes when you click on Activation and several others. Not heard about it being fixed in the next Insider Preview release.
Could you please post a link to that info?

For those running Windows 10 x64 Home 14901 and are having the Settings app crash here may be a solution. Info from MS answer forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/i...?page=1&auth=1.

Thanks tracit99, another member posted me that link, however it would have been better if MS had made a link available to download the Pro version of LockdownUtil.dll.
Anyone know if there's a way to extract this file from the .iso ?
