You can (maybe) also download and install it manually Windows 10 build 14393.10 is released for all rings

Yes I got that found it on my desktop have put it in a folder in case it is needed

Yes, metered connection setting is just for those cases so you don't get charged arm and a leg and can plan your updates to time when it's cheaper or when you have a larger leeway to download.
