I do the update console and it just flashes "time to update" then says "You do not require any updates"? My OS version is 10.0.10586.1202. This through the XBOX App though, will have to try it right from my XBOX I guess?
Mine did that for half the day until it finally prompted to start the update.

Likely a time zone/country issue? I'll just leave it on overnight and see what happens.

Still nothing, turned Xbox on just now and it's last update check was today 5.50 am UK time but nothing found. I never use the PC app, just use the console direct as its actually hooked up to HDMI 2 on the same monitor as my PC.

what is frustrating about MS here is the way they drip feed their updates (I'm sure the same will happen on Tuesday with the anniversary update). With Apple iOS and OSX, they release an update and everyone gets it. PS4, update released and everyone gets it. None of this constantly having to check back to see if your one of the lucky selected candidates/regions. Obviously MS doesn't invest well in their servers unlike the other big guns. Personally, I need to plan when I get time to go on the PC and / or Xbox for an extended period. So if I know an update is out on a select date I expect to be able to go through the process. On Tuesday after work I'll be hoping to do the anniversary update and get it done when I am hand to deal with it properly. same with how I feel to this Xbox update for this weekend

    - I had to try several times before the update commenced..
    - re-booted between attempts, maybe that will trigger it..

    - "Hey Cortana - open Groove Music"
    - listen to some Steely Dan

    - then say "Hey Cortana open BBC iPlayer"
    - it goes straight there from Groove Music..

    - I'm most impressed, you guys..
    - it's brilliant!!

I restarted it and on reboot it found update, downloading now. Went very quick to the final 275 mb remains but now slowed right down! 1 megabyte every few seconds now
