Lync UWP app is still called Lync. Lync desktop as in Office 2013 is now Skype for Business in Office 2016.

Lync UWP app and Skype for Business are two very different things.

No, this is / was my bad, totally completely my fault. My apologies.

I made a rookie mistake not checking that link was universal, letting a localized link be posted. Link I gave earlier is for Windows Store UK. Computer location has to be set to UK for that to work (Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language). Changing computer location to USA it did not work anymore, giving the "Not available" note.

Now computer location set to USA I tested again, changing the link from Windows Store UK...

... it works. Although still showing the "Not available" note, it also shows a working Install button:

You cannot officially. Just wait till to tomorrow when it is released and download from MS.

I understand build 14393.5 has reached the Slow and Release Preview rings.

I'm on the Slow ring "rs1_release" and still haven't seen Build 14393 show up on Windows update.

Do you want the latest Insider Build, or do you want the Anniversary Edition?

The Anniversary Edition won't be out until tomorrow. I'm not sure, but I don't believe an announcement with the link has been released.

Some have speculated that the Anniversary Edition will be released at 10:00 AM Pacific time, but I'm thinking more in terms of a 7:00 to 9:00 time frame. I hope I'm right!
