Sure. You can change those names to your heart's content really. Just make sure they're unique if you're using several systems and or are networked.Forgot to mention. That name also shows up under devices under you Microsoft ID online account. I have no idea which PC is which with the names auto assigned.
The changes will be synchronized on your MS Account automagically.

Define "automatically" lol. It takes what seems like a random time for them to actually sync. Sometimes I get the old name and the new name listed and have to delete the old device name. Anyway, I for one would like to be given the chance to edit it during the install.
