I did a clean instillation when the first build of 10 came out but mostly I've gone the upgrade path. It's a lot of work to clean install and OS and all of the software I use every time a change comes out.

This is the first build for ages where I get DistributedCOM errors showing up in Event Viewer. They show up in blocks of eight, all the same error relating to Cortana.

The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

to the user ANDY\andym SID (S-1-5-21-2407495250-3179500025-1491403135-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_1.7.0.14393_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy SID (S-1-15-2-1861897761-1695161497-2927542615-642690995-327840285-2659745135-2630312742). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
