Shouldn't it read: "This option is no longer available because you ran Disk Cleanup"!?

don't know what is wrong with the last few builds. Had trouble downloading last two builds on desktop and installed using iso made from esd from laptop. Now, cannot get download from either desktop or laptop. So cannot make an ISO from anything! I have tried changing preferences for downloads and nothing! Every couple of hours I get downloads for windows defender.

After all this time, do you still trust Bloggers, and so called internet journalist, when it comes to Windows releases?
    I prefer the "Horses Mouth".
If it isn't posted at Microsoft's sites, Microsoft(dot)com, Technet, MSDN, and the Blog sites there, I just laugh.

I guess it should really say10 days OR disk cleanup.

I asked before about this - is the 10 days a change in rollback policy eg 7/8 to 10, you get 30 days, and I thought same applied with build upgrades?

The date point was a mistake on my part.

I was not discussing right to leave and remain activated - it is well known that you need a valid key or digital licence to leave Insider program and remain activated.

My discussion was about the fact that you can leave the recent Insider versions now (no watermark versions) without reinstalling everything. You could not do that with the earlier watermarked versions - you would have to clean install old version and reinstall everything.
Ok, it was basically a one line comment. I wasn't exactly sure what you where meaning to say. I was just adding my take on things. Lots of ins and outs and a few pitfalls when your running an insider build.

    Sure.

As an aside, my point was more related to the current builds and RS1 release. I have concluded MS could keep doing upgrades right up to 2nd Aug, or today even draw the line and declare 14390 as the build.

All builds since 14383 have a July 2016 "RTM" EULA in fact, not an Insider EULA.

Unlike 10586 where we got one version with no watermark and speculated for a few days if it was TH2, and eventually concluded it was, we cannot do that with RS1 as we have already had 4 non-watermarked versions (and Kari was saved the ignomy of eating catfood ).

MS are (sensibly I would say), taking a more cautious approach ie fine tuning until last minute this time. So I think now (as Insiders we will only see the official release actually on 2nd Agust this time, or maybe a day or two earlier eg previous Friday.

    Good morning, Alpha.

I think you've said it all about being an Insider. I really like that statement!

I would think they'd have to give us the "real" Anniversary Edition a few days ahead. Although I'm not a coder, I do know that changing one part of code can break another line, so they have to give themselves time "just in case".

I'd guess Monday or probably Tuesday will be the last build we see unless something goes terribly awry.

More so for me, I've been out of the loop for a while and just getting back into it. No real excuse other than being a bit lazy I guess. Now I'm playing catch up.

I thought you'd been gone for awhile. Good to see you back.
