So far he only problem I had was with Edge. It doesn't want to shutdown and I had it freeze up and had to use Task Manager to close it. I'm going to report it in Feed Back. I only use it in the Insider build for testing so until it's fixed I'm going back to Pale Moon.
You might try clearing caches first. After an upgrade, there might be some extra junk in them that is not expected.
I tried clearing the cache but it didn't help. I prefer Pale Moon over Edge anyhow. I just use it for testing when I'm on my Insider build to help find bugs.
Yes. That behavior (failure to delete windows.old after disk cleanup system files) IS a regression and needs to be fixed. I use Unlocker 1.92 to get rid of the directory. Although even with unlocker I sometimes have to reboot to get rid of windows.old.

You can delete windows.old by clicking on.....see attachment below....scrolling down to tick what files you wish to remove.
