It might be pure coincidence but I've had a few times a situation where no upgrade comes through, then I notice that this setting is on. I turn it off and upgrade starts after next restart:
Kari, I have failed to receive updates for last two builds on my desktop,so made Iso from install.esd from laptop to install on desktop. After reading your post, I checked and found exactly what you show in this post. Don't know how it was changed to 'on' position. Thank you. Maybe next build will arrive as it should.

Never had a problem installing new builds until this one.

I got up this morning and went to run update on my PC and it showed build 14388 was already downloading, I let it carry on but after installing a PC restart wasn't requested. I ran winver and it showed that build 14385 was still installed. Went back to look at update again and saw 14388 was downloading again. The same procedure again with no reboot at the end. The download automatically started again and this time the full install procedure followed complete with reboot.

All seems fine now and I can only conclude that the first two downloads were corrupt.

However build 14385 did seem a little faster and snappier than this one.

This happened to me months ago, when I have option checked to allow downloading from more then one place (in updates - advance options - choose how downloads are delivered).

I'm not sure if that setting has anything to do with it or not. This is my settings and I still get new builds.
