Windows 10 Software Development Kit (SDK) build 14383 now available

Today, we released a new Windows 10 Anniversary SDK Preview to be used in conjunction with Windows 10 Insider Preview (Build 14383 or greater). The Preview SDK is a pre-release and cannot be used in a production environment. Please only install the SDK on your test machine. The Preview SDK Build 14383 contains bug fixes and under development changes to the API surface area. If you are working on an application that you need to submit to the store, you should not install the preview.

The Preview SDK can be downloaded from developer section on Windows Insider.

For feedback and updates to the known issues, please see the developer forum. For new feature requests, head over to our Windows Platform UserVoice.

    Things to note:

    • We are getting close to Windows 10 Anniversary Update on August 2nd, 2016. It is a great time to start testing end to end with all the new APIs Windows 10 Anniversary Update provides.
    • This is still a pre-release build of the SDK. While the EULA does state this is an RTM release, it is not. This release does not have a go-live license. Apps built with this SDK will not be allowed to be on-boarded to the store.

Win 10. Found SDK, which occupies 2.46 G. I did not install it; maybe it came with some utility. Or is it a part of Windows 10 which must be there? I don't intend to develop any software for a while, so if it isn't needed for the system I'll get rid...
