    You can!? Hmmm, got a link to instructions for that!? I think I can remove the DVD drive . . . maybe. I don't use it.

    No go on installing the SSD in the DVD's spot. DVD had teeny tiny connectors, while SSD has normal sized connectors.

    The only alternative now is to do major surgery.

    I think you have to have an adaptor that allows the SSD to be inserted where the DVD was installed. Check on ebay or Amazon for a DVD to SSD adaptor.

    Was at 23% now nothing. Shut it down. Now just saying updates available,downloading updates@0,nothing.
