The way I look at it the RTM will be 10xxx build 16xx. Insider builds will be greater than 14xxx. That's just my thinking.
I'd be very surprised if it's 10xxx. The build/branch system is complicated enough as it is. A build is a build, and they are sequentially numbered. We're on 14383, and there will be a couple more or so. Say we get up to 14400 or something, and that is determined to be the release. They're gonna change the build number to 10-something? I don't think so - it would complicate things to no end. That said, I guess nothing would surprise me at this point.

Insider, maybe... current build for Joe Public should stay down in the 10xxx series.
IIRC, we tested 10586 and that's what the November Update came as. :)

    We'll know in 25 days.

OK, guys, I've provided enough fun for one day. Think I'll go to bed now. :)

Hmmm, on second thought, maybe I'll get one of those 16TB jobbies. Then I can have enough partitions to keep all my Insider Builds installed.

Running the whole Windows 10 history on one machine? Nice idea. Is this doable with consumer hardware? Must you have license for each Insider build?

I still think that there will be one or two more builds next week to finalize things before the final cut.

But I could be wrong.. This is a nice stable build.

Thinking about it I think the attachment I posted only refers to bug checking....when copied from feedback hub image was so much smaller, did not notice imprinted bug.

I do not think you will have to eat the tin of cat food Kari as I too believe there are more tryouts to come before official release.
Regarding cat food, in the poorest parts of the West Indies it was known as Jamaican salmon.
