Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10061 now available

I updated from 10049 no problems here so far just converted ESD to ISO

I am preparing to install right now and cannot wait to test it out and see if the performance overall is any better
I just discovered it. Looks like it's gonna download for me. I'm at 1% now.

Lol.. With a leaked 10056, it's now trying to download 10066 and erroring... it skipped 10061 completely. Guess i'll have to reinstall an earlier build.
I'm glad I went the very painful route of going back to Build 10049. Looks like I did something smart for once. :)

As a matter of fact i did update from 10056. think that might have been it?
Probably. I was having it happen on 10056, and now it's happening on 10061 as well.

I hope you'll get it done before 10066 is released.... (just teasing you... ) :)

That was probably a good idea. I think upgrading from a leak was going to give me problems.

That's the smartest thing to do. 10056 is a disposable build. :)

Not you, too??? You still on it?

Nope. While it was preparing to install 10061, I quickly made an ISO and thumb drive and clicked on restart!
I wasn't gonna stick around to find out if it would work or not!

Probably not, Shootout. The "fast ring" gets the new build first, but without an ISO. Once Microsoft has things working like they want, then the "slow ring" gets to update or download the ISO. That's the way it was until Build 10049, which had problems of its own; thus, no ISO or slow ring for it.
At least I think I'm telling you the truth. :)
