SSDs made Hibernation obsolete on HDDs it still makes sense.
I have a SSD and I still use hibernation. But that's just me.

If you use Hibernation it will take up as much disk space as you have memory. I have never used it. This is what I have been told by the so called experts on The Net.
I was just a tad off:

Odd, my system is 32-bit and I have that update waiting for me as well.
I read someone posted that they installed it, and went into a hopeless boot loop, and were reimaging now....guess I'd better get the Macrium Reflect out....LOL

Here it is, I found it

It's waiting for me now, along with three for Visual C++ and CAPICOM.

So I installed KB3055415. I did not get Visual C++ or CAPICOM either. After rebooting, it blue screened with DPC Watchdog Violation Instruction at 0x6b482755 could not be read. Then it rebooted and went to the login screen. Still can not use Cortana, Feedback or Insider. Ran dskchk, nothing. Ran sfc /scannow, no integrity violations.

It could be the programs I use, Gary. I installed the Ancestry.com genealogy program and PaintShop Pro with its family of things. Also, Office 365, which I don't think would want C++ and CAPICOM.

Anyhoo, everything installed nicely and so far, no BSODs. Everything's up to date, even Defender.

Most updates/hotfixes are architecture independent, that is, they are issued to fix/update Windows issues whether 32bit or 64 bit (X86 or X64). It is rare to see a platform dependent update.

    Hi there

Still doesn't fix launching programs from the start menu --.

Seems only a clean install (ESD==>iso) works for that. I think I'll just wait for the next build.

I've reverted back to 10049 on one machine but left 10061 on a VM for possible fixes before next release.

    Cheers
