I am not getting the 10066, just a defender update.

    Edit

Rather than do a clean install because of apps not launching from the start menu I installed classic shell. Works like a champ now

I'm also getting the update to 10066, which I think is a carry over from having 10056 installed.

I went back to 10049 in anticipation of the next new build, which for me would be an update, it went as expected ... downloaded and installed (10061) but much quicker than previous builds, download and install <2 hours.

My thoughts ... Its a carry over ... good or bad ... who knows.

A clean instillation of 10061 seems to be working great and any of the issues I was having with the update are gone. The install took about 20 minutes. :)

A clean install seems to be the best option for all the W10 TP builds I've tried so far.

So far it has been that way for me. I did notice that some of the apps/tools didn't work when I did the update but they now do with a clean instillation.
