Is it saying that you are the full administrator when you are in safe mode I didn't know that
Interesting question and I was wondering the same.

What I noticed when I was checking this build still gave the same message about built in Administrator is than if you open the run box in safe mode then it says "This process will run with Administrator Privileges" which it doesn't for an Admin user in normal mode.

I suppose based on that and the fact UWP apps don't work it seems you are. My Googling isn't good enough to find any definitive answer though.

@maciak Yes that is what I mean. It looks just ugly. [emoji30]
@maciak I am very curious what the "left aligned" looks like to you, versus what you want it to be. Would it be possible to post a pic of it, or both, so we can see exactly what you are talking about?

It is alignment of text describing icons. In case of tiles (big icons), text is centered on desktop and left aligned everywhere else. We had this discussion in Insider threads somewhere in (very aprox.) march, when this change was made.

I had to do a complete "Reset" of my W10 Home (a couple of weeks ago).

I couldn't even use the Macrium image I had created (the previous time I booted W10).
That could be an SSD issue, as I've found the result of trying to restore backup images to SSDs is totally random compared to HDDs.
The other possibility is that W10 corrupted itself between booting up and the creation of that ("Verified") image.

The Activation screen reports that I am "Activated", but my W10 Home doesn't seems to be able to "attract" the 1607 Upgrade.
I have been receiving Windows Defender updates though.

Is there some sort of pre-requisite update that needs to be installed, before the 1607 Upgrade will be offered?

I have found nothing confirmed but there's some talk on Interwebs about 1607 only being offered to those Windows 10 installations at least 30 days old. If your reset was not over 30 days ago that might explain it. I have one W10 PRO 1511 Hyper-V vm clean installed two weeks ago, no 1607 yet. I've decided to trust this rumour and wait.

Reason for this 30 day rule seems to be for MS to be sure that any possible roll back grace period is ended before 1607 upgrade is done.

You can upgrade your Windows OS anytime you want too. Most of us never got any update for 1607. We had to download it manually then mount it, and run the setup.exe to install. There is also another way that you can, on your Update page, where you go to check for latest update, WAY AT THE Bottom there is something like Learn More or check other options .....forget what the exact wording is....but you can click on that too, and follow all the prompts, and that will upgrade you to 1607 also. So you do have ways to upgrade if you want to use them. I will post a link that you can use to download the ISO from MS if you want to use that method. Mike.

    Thanks Kari & OldMike65.

Thanks for the info and tips. :)

I had issues trying to use an ISO to upgrade initially (wrong version) so if it doesn't show up in a few days, I'll download the latest MCT.

That is odd. I have done at least a hundred restores to SSD with Reflect with no issues at all. What model SSD?
