Speccy works fine on my Dell 9550. As does Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4.1.1.

Only problem I had yesterday after the install of 1607 was that at initial boot I got only a 1/4 screen in the upper left area. All sorts of attempts to fix did not work - but for some reason all is well this morning boots to full screen. I really hate UNEXPANIED problems.

Right click the Taskbar and launch Taskmanager. Select StartUp and Look if there are two Onedrive lines present. If so disable one of them.

I also use Speccy and it survived fine through the upgrade....Had a very smooth one yesterday, by the way....it's running great and all apps and data were carried over from my original install..even all the settings remained the same...:)

I have a 128 GB SSD, which formats to 118 GB. With Windows alone, I'm sitting at 59 GB. Add in my monstrous game Battlefield 4 for an additional 55 GB and we're dead out of space - which MUST be on my SSD (because I want it fast). Program Files and x86 add an additional 4 GB and 3 GB (so far) and the users folders 231 GB.

Now, you can see that I have a very reasonable need to rearrange my storage. 360 GB won't fit into 118 GB and I still don't have everything installed yet as I'm waiting for Windows to calm down post upgrade from 7. Of course, I could go buy a 1 TB SSD, but in reality, I prefer for the OS and MY data / programs to be separated.

after updating avast both program and virus definitions now defender is off, but the icon is showing in the taskbar
will see if i can make the icon disappear.

I have an entry in Task Manager / Startup for Windows Defender notification icon which I disabled and made the icon go away.
