Now, I am afraid of restarting...what happens if I lose my activation when I install this update? Will I have to clean install the latest update by downloading the correct edition of Windows?
No, you shouldn't have to do a clean install.

Can you post a screenshot please?

So mine has updated via Windows update, but when i selected restart now it's been circling on restarting for a good couple mins . Anyone else see this?
Ya, it takes a bit of time. Patience!

My download started at 1:01PM and 40 minutes later and three restarts (including original after download) it's up and running with no issues so far.

Downloading the W 10 Anniversary Update now, 7 % after 4 minutes, on 12 Mbps connection. My computer (i5) is only 8 weeks old (someone said that newer computers are offered the download earlier than older ones.

    12% after writing the above.
23% now (after another 5 minutes)..

Okay, so when you go into "System Properties" it says Home? (Click "This PC" at the top, click "Computer", then there should be a "System Properties.)
