Install is finished. I got an error message when my desktop loaded though. D:\Desktop does not exist, or something like that. Disk management shows my 1 TB Data drive as unallocated. It's all backed up, but it still sucks.

My Education watermark is gone now. So is Cortana.

It shows as Activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account. It was previously activated with my MSDN Retail key?

This suggests education is now in the standard iso - is this true?

Nope, the ISO's contain only Professional and Core editions
MCT ISO at least contains Home, Pro and Education. This just now from clean install using MCT ISO for N versions:

Use Media Creation Tool, that's what we've been saying the whole time. :) Or use the links I provided, you will have to flip back some pages, do to the heavy posting on this thread.

ISO's are up on MSDN now. Education is a separate ISO from the Home, Pro multi edition ISO. That's the way it has been in the past too. I don't see the new Education Pro though?

I probably will also. I have been using PCs since dos was the OS and have used each successive version of Windows but now that we have smartphones and everything on them "just works" I love my iPhone.

No troubleshooting, or other issues...I can just enjoy the equipment and it does what I want.

It's high time that we Windows do the same and while it was fun to tinker around with computers when I "built" my own back in the day, it's really not something most do these days and if the do they probably are not using windows but some "alternative" os anyway.

So I really HOPE this 1 year anniversary loads and that everything "just works"...after all they have had time and plenty of feedback from insiders to get it right!

Still not here in Los Angeles anyway, so I can't tell you my experience yet!

Why is that? What has Windows 10 done to you that is stressing you out?
