Questions to you good people out there:
I have 3 SSDs on my pc:

10586PRO - ( the ole RTM) not on the insider program.
10586ENT - (eval copy) not on the insider program.
    14393.5 - with insider program.

Will 10586PRO and ENT be ugraded without joining insider program?
I know 14393 will be upgraded also but will it all be the same build/version for all?

    Thanks in advance.
The Retail Version Build 10586 should update to the Anniversary Edition (if you took advantage of the free upgrade), but I don't think Insider Build 14393.5 will be updated until the next Insider Build.

Not that I would never break the EULA I agreed to so this is not a serious post

    Hi,
    @Wynona and Starferret:

ISO version is version 14393.0 . The update to .5 came later on so weren't included in the .esd file used to create the .ISO
Hence, if you do a clean install using the ISO file you initially will see 14393.0 in winver. Later on WU will take it to version .5
Yup, what I figured had happened; you just said it better than I did. :)

Whether or not the "real" Anniversary version will incorporate the small (10 Mb?) update to version .5 remains to be seen when we'll actually get it tomorrow.
Oh, there's not a doubt in my mind that .5 will be incorporated into the Anniversary Edition. That's exactly why these tiny cumulative updates have happened within Build 14393. Everything we have will be incorporated into the Anniversary Edition, and maybe a bit more, but don't hold me to the bit more part. :)

No but it will update via the normal update process to the latest sub-build that is consistent with the sub-build when RS1 comes out tomorrow.

Interestingly I have just seen a report that the RS1 iso is now available on the VLSC (Volume Licencing Service Centre).

When the ISO will become available? A thing like 2 August 00:00 PDT?
It will become available on August 2. That's all any of us know; there are too many Time Zones for anything like an accurate guess or statement.

I like your small print, Nigel. Very appropriate, to say the least.

Both seem quite logical, the Anniversary update has never been stated to be a one off locked build so will naturally update as any other build. VLSC have been known to issue a little early in the past. as the licensing model is unique to the service it should not cause any issues

It's not up on MSDN yet, just checked. I don't have access to VLSC to check there.

Not surprised at all, Cereberus! I would think commercial customers might get it a day earlier than us small fish. :)
