I wouldn't count on that. Windows Update and BITS both run as LocalSystem. That means, if they want to, they can reset those permissions. The only question is, whether or not they will do that or just assume they can access the files and fail if they can't.
What else can I do to prevent auto-upgrades? I am running Home Edition.

Okay, so that would be 12:00? I have checked MCT, "Settings" - "Update & Security" - checked 3 times, and have tried to download the Windows 10 ISO from their official using Chrome UA Spoofer. Or, does MCT update automatically at 12:00? I am confused, I am very tired and was kind of hoping to download Redstone.

I have no clue, it is 12:57 a.m. Central Time here and I have not yet received anything.

I have checked everything, except the Media Creation Tool, but I don't want to do that, because I don't want to download the wrong thing.

Okay, yeah that's just going to have to be the answer for now. Well, I guess I will go to sleep now, 1:07 a.m. We will see what tomorrow brings! (Whoops, today haha)
