There are two enterprise versions on the partner site, the original July 15 and another July16 but not sure if the later is the last pre RS1 or RS1 itself - not scheduled to update any enterprise systems for a while so not an urgent issue here anyway

Not surprised at all, Cereberus! I would think commercial customers might get it a day earlier than us small fish. :)

Given my earlier comment about bonk, I guess a more polite word would be "milb".
In Ireland, Shift is an other name for Bonk.

It will become available on August 2. That's all any of us know; there are too many Time Zones for anything like an accurate guess or statement.
I get Releases as soon as they are realesed in Redmond.

    Just an FYI...

ever since Windows 7 you can have more than four operating systems on a HDD formatted under the older MBR system. The boot disk has to be on a Primary disk but the Operating systems do not, they can be on a logical disk on an extended partition I think the most I had was 6 of course these days I tend to use VMs but it was fun

This shows two working copies of Win7 Beta coexisting on a Logical partition

The system drive boots the active OS (Vista IIRC) the two Windows 7's and also the Linux partition that is not identified on the other primary partitions

    Attachment 93347
    Hi there

I think Misunderstanding here --it's not that you can't have more than 4 partitions / HDD's etc -- it's just AT INSTALL TIME.

After install then no probs whatsoever.

    Cheers

Will you download the ISO file from Tech Bench or via MediaCreationTool?

It should appear in the normal windows updates - Mine also included a link to get the ISO file or create a USB for install - not sure if this will be universal or just the Insider rings

I have created C:\$WINDOWS.~BT and made it impossible to create new files there.
I hope auto-upgrade can then be prevented.
