Windows 10 Anniversary Update Available August 2

I tried install the update but got notified that cannot as my C drive needs 13 GB spare. It only has 7 GB (normally aboout 5). The small SSD has less than 30 to start. When I did a clean re-install a few month's ago I was able to designate an external drive to assist.

My HDD is small as well. I move data to another HDD to clear up space. My might consider using Disk Cleanup.

Save the ISO file to an external USB flash drive or SD card:

Run a thorough disc cleanup using option two here:
Disk Cleanup - Open and Use in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Mount the ISO file from the USB flash drive or SD card and run setup.exe from the mounted file.

No sign of any updates for two different versions of W10, yet some UK pc's seem to be getting it.

Locate "temp" folder. Run > %temp% and delete everything in that folder. I cleaned 12GB like that before update.

this has cropped up twice today
started computer 15 mins ago and this just came never had this before new update
I always log onto that comp with pin number
not logged onto my windows account.

not getting this on my insider laptop logged into windows account

That dialog asking the PIN or password if no PIN is set is occasionally shown when you sign in to Windows with a local account but you have entered your MS account credentials for some service or services requiring MS account, for example Store, Windows Insider builds in Update, OneDrive and so on.

I got fed up waiting, and started it manually.
Settings > Windows Update > Learn more > and you can download the updater from there, just done 2 PC's successfully.
