Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.10 has issues running scheduled backups with Macrium Reflect 6. This is due to the legacy task scheduler API used by the program. The Macrium folks are looking into it.
This is disconcerting to hear. Although I must say, my Insider rig has had 1607 on it for a while, and scheduled backups have indeed been running. But it has not yet been scheduled to run since the .10 patch came out, so I don't know if that's what did it. Do you have a link in the Macrium forums we can watch?

I don't have a camera or microphone so I've never installed Skype. After a few minutes working with the new OS this morning I received a blue side panel pop-in note that mentioned Skype was available to install. Moments later I got 2 more pop-in notes offering porn sites! Well, that's certainly new!

    Any way to block those?

Wow, what a mess! I think I'll wait this one out until it's safe.
The issue was with a Mirror site, their own web page download was not effected, the Mirror site was fixed within a couple of hours. I had downloaded the latest version on the 30th of July in preparation of the AU. I have no issues on 4 computers. The issues I am finding
    1. Can't find a way to do away with the Stop Screen?
    2. Macrium Reflect Schedule are not working. Manual back up and Images work but for some reason Schedules will not run on time or at all. MR is aware and working on it. I won't upgrade my other computers until that is fixed.
    3. I'm getting the " I must repair my Microsoft Account" Action center message I use only Local Accounts so looking for how to stop the aggravation of this reminder popping up every few hours.
Otherwise my Gadget 8 program updated itself and my desktop gadgets are working Core Temp is working so I can monitor my CPU and GPU Temps and a couple of other gadgets I have used for years. MS Office 2013 Pro + updated itself and works no issues I have seen so far. Acrobat 9.5 seem to be working. Adobe CS4 all seems to be working. I may find other things that aren't working but that's all my main things I look for.

Really? Because it was deleted from one laptop I updated, and when I went searching for it, I saw this, and so decided not to reinstall it.

http://forum.macrium.com/Topic8364.a...Index=4#bm8427 Is the thread I'm following on MR Forum, it seems they are working on it but need something from MS to get the schedules working again. If we start a thread here please post a link here so I'll know to get in there too.

http://www.classicshell.net/forum/vi...php?f=7&t=6441 is the thread on CS Forum sorry I got mixed up on your reply same thing if we start a Thread post a link in this thread for us.
On the classic shell people that got it are done very nasty virus. If you didn't have an Image to roll back too total losses on reboot. Very bad Luck for The CS people and clients that downloaded from that mirror site

Yes I got the same Dialog, however after a few minutes the 8gadet installer popped up and updated it and my gadgets popped up and working, I then had to manually start Core Temp for my Temps to show.

Several people on reddit are reporting issues with Edge extensions. Apparently they aren't working. I haven't tried it yet because it's still in the "working on updates" stage.
I've only installed one extension in Edge - ADBLOCK PLUS - no probs

Insert usb stick whilst running windows 10, and run setup.exe to upgrade. The upgrade method is exactly the same as the auto upgrade but actually more reliable.
    Correct.

I was getting that on my laptop, which I thought was strange since I'm also using a local account. So I just deleted the Microsoft account Windows was annoying me about. Problem solved. I entered everything anew when I logged into the Store. In my case, the logon email address registered at MS had changed, but the laptop didn't know about that.
