    Windows 10 Pro,

That is sad. I physically disconnected every drive except my C: drive.

The data is possibly recoverable. Look at minitool partition wizard, recuva etc. Just do not write to drive.

Just remember for next time: Buy an external HDD, and backup your files on every HDD and do a System Restore. That way, when this happens again, you will be prepared. Always be prepared.

I don't know either why an update would do that.

Edit: Wait, go to File Explorer and click "This PC" and see if the stuff is still in that HDD in File Explorer.

So there is no way to get extensions for Edge without an MS Account?

Backup the install.esd file if you have space somewhere and then delete it. Run sfc /scannow first though.
