Used MCT to upgrade my Lenovo K450 to 14393.0. Took about 35 minutes start to finish. Then applied the Windows Update to get the 14393.10.
Everything working fine here. I was surprised that System Restore was not disabled. Settings remained exactly as I had them.

Thanks for the info, I'm hoping my Lenovo lappy has no problems either.

just be patient and let it do its thing. Unless the update process pulls up an error, let it do its thing.

Info about how to link the Windows activation to your MS account, you can re-activate Windows after a major hardware change: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ardware-change

Can someone tell me. If I use MCT to download an iso and use the iso to upgrade with, will I still
have a choice to keep my programs and settings or do a clean install? I want to upgrade several computers and keep them as they are. Thanks, undine.

    Win 10 1607 (OS Build 14393.10)

Installed 14393.10 on two retail Win 10 64 Bit Pro laptops in the office. My Dell Inspiron 5559 had a little difficulty and failed the first time. Probably my own fault since I waited quite awhile to start the reboots and was moving the install.esd file around making an ISO which I ended up downloading from MSFT anyway. After the first failure, the next download completed without trouble.

The second system, a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 updated without any trouble. Both system completed with 14393.10 showing and no second boot required. Also both system finished with System Restore enabled.

Two more laptops and three desk sides to go but they will have to wait. One, another Surface Pro 3, does not have a DVD and has not yet shown the Windows Update bits. The others I will get to tomorrow.
